paloma
sailing FROM THE ROCKAWAYS TO POINTS close and dreamt.
Paloma is a classic 34-foot sailing yacht designed by Olin Stephens for Tartan Marine. Built in 1971, she evokes a nostaglic golden era in sailing. Her timeless lines stand up to present-day gazes and open sea passages.
Paloma is captained by the Sail Rockaway team and creates experiences with friends in design, food, and words.
maritime philosophy
Sailing is about the feeling — a relationship with wind and its tug, in fingers and tongue. We’re thick-skinned intrepids, but not without our sensualisms.
Paloma stocks Portuguese fish, spices, and a range of modest delicacies.
Aboard, our collected literature is honest but hearty; nautical, naughty.
Paloma means pigeon and dove in equal measure. Rockaway Beach ain’t the Mediterranean; our dreams are.

NIGHTS & MORNINGS
You can stay the night. When your skin’s had enough sand and salt, the waves take you to sleep.
We’re available for parties of two. (Ask nicely about three.)
